Brief
Eng. Sara Gamal is a Teacher Assistant at Ain Shams University, Faculty of Engineering, Architecture Department, Graduated in 2014. Her Graduation Project was designing a Medical city.
Sara's main interest is in healthcare facilities design; she has designed different governmental, educational, and private sector hospitals in and outside Egypt.
Her Master's Degree in 2020 focused on "Theory of Architecture", namely" Evaluating the Performance of Basic Functional Elements of Governmental Hospital Buildings in Egypt". Since then, the research work of Eng. Sara has generally focused on the design of hospitals and healthcare facilities, their performance evaluation, design efficiency, and renovation of hospital-built environments. To date, she has published a paper in a reviewed journal.
Eng. Sara has acted as Demonstrator at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University in 2015, since then she has been involved in teaching up-to-date courses in a variety of correlated disciplines: Architecture Design, Building Construction, Working Drawings, Environmental Design, Professional Practice, Project Management, and History of Architecture.

Achieving the First Place in "Waste Segregation from Home Competition" organized by UTW under the auspices of Dr. Laila Eskander the minister of environment in the Egyptian Ministry 2014 .
