Brief

Fatma earned her bachelor’s degree in architecture engineering from Ain Shams University (ASU) in 2012 with distinction and honors. Her order of merit was the 1st of the successful students totaling 99. She has finished her Ph.D. at the same university in 2020, where she works as assistant professor. She is a part time researcher working in various research projects funded by local and international funding agencies like the STDF, AHRC, and British council under the collaboration between Ain Shams university and UK universities like Salford University, Kingston university, university of East London and Lincoln university. Also, she worked in a project funded by the IHBI at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia. Fatma participated in teaching many courses related to architectural and environmental design at ASU for undergraduate and postgraduate Levels. She participated in preparing the new bylaws of 2023 for three international architectural programs as well as smart cities program for the national Ain shams university. She published several papers in highly indexed journals and international conferences related to building environmental design, parametric modelling, daylighting, glare, virtual reality, optimization, and machine learning.
